SHALFLEET VILLAGE LUNCH
All potatoes are purchased either from a supermarket, farm shop or Bookers and are appropriate for use.
Potatoes are bought within two days of use and stored in a cool place.
We do not fry potatoes.
All potatoes for roasting or boiling are peeled a day in advance, rinsed and then left covered in a cool place. Then rinsed again and placed in fresh water for cooking.
Roasted and boiled potatoes are cut into small pieces to enable even cooking.
Roasted potatoes are never cooked at temperatures above 170/180 c.
Potatoes for baking are washed, pricked and placed in the oven at not more than 170 c.
Yeast is never used.
Deep frying is never used.
All burnt foods are disposed of.
