Shalfleet Village Hall is a converted 18th century barn, newly refurbished in 2011, situated in the historic village of Shalfleet on the Isle of Wight. It offers flexible facilities for clubs, business, meetings, and social events. When empty the Hall size is 14.4m by 4.0m. Usable size with tables & chairs stacked at far end is 13.0m x 4.0m.
A unique quiet, peaceful and picturesque location with good transport links and onsite parking. The beautiful adjacent meadow is also available to use once the hay has been cut at the end of June. The hall is kept scrupulously clean with good lighting and an efficient heating system. The Hall is owned by St.Michael’s Church, part of the West Wight Mission Community, and is managed by the Shalfleet PCC Hall Sub-Committee for the benefit of the whole village.
Low cost facilities available include level wheelchair disabled access, toilet, a fitted kitchen with cooking facilities, crockery & cutlery, tables & chairs, and an onsite car park for up to 30 cars.
It is actively used by many local groups and is available to hire on a regular basis or as a one-off for:
